An application of a heptose chain-containing oligosaccharide compound in the preparation of a helicobacter pylori vaccine, relating to the field of medicines. A synthetic oligosaccharide chip is prepared by chemically synthesizing different antigen sugar chain fragments and immobilizing same on the surface of a chip. By combining an animal immune experiment and the analysis on the synthetic oligosaccharide chip, and testing an antibody in antiserum generated for polysaccharide, the relation between synthetic oligosaccharide and immunogenicity is explored. The exploration shows that a heptose chain in an antigen is an important immune epitope, that is, a carbohydrate antigen fragment containing the α-(1->3) heptose chain has excellent immunocompetence, and can be used for preparing and developing vaccines for preventing and treating helicobacter pylori infection.
