To estimate a contact situation to a first medium by using a contact situation to a second medium which distributes the same content as that of the first medium by the Internet.SOLUTION: A computer acquires first data showing the number of persons who has contacted a first medium at the time of a first investigation, and acquires second data showing the number of persons who contacted a second medium distributing through communication network the same content as that of the first medium at the time of a second investigation. The number of setting at the time of the second investigation in a unit period of time is larger than the number of setting at the time of the first investigation. The computer acquires the correspondence relation between the number of persons who have contacted the first medium and the number of persons who have contacted the second medium, and estimates the number of the persons who have contacted the first medium at an estimation target time on the basis of the number of persons who have contacted the second medium at the time of the second investigation, which fits the estimation target point, and the correspondence relation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
