Remote device management using blockchain and DICE-RIOT

Disclosed is a technology for remotely managing computing devices using blockchain and DICE-RIoT. In one embodiment, the disclosed method comprises: scanning a network to obtain a list of devices on the network; classifying the device as a controlled device or an uncontrolled device; establishing a secure channel with the controlled device; issuing one or more control commands to a controlled device over a secure channel, wherein the one or more control commands are included in a signed message, wherein the signed message is signed using a sender's private key and verified using a recipient's public key wherein the private key and the public key are generated during secure channel establishment; receiving a response to the control command; and recording the control commands and responses to the blockchain.
