A method and system for retrieving related images through a complex ranking model using features of different modal are disclosed. The related image search method includes: searching for a document corresponding to an initial query and providing a search resu extracting a plurality of features having different modals when an image is selected from the search resu and retrieving a related image related to the image by using the plurality of features as an input query.
