To provide an electronic medical chart device and an electronic medical chart program which can indicate by whom and when each medical chart information therein was recorded.SOLUTION: The electronic medical chart device includes: a description processing unit for sequentially describing plural pieces of medical chart information into an electronic medical chart in response to operations by users; an acquisition processing unit for acquiring, every time the description processing unit describes medical chart information into the electronic medical chart, information on a person who recorded the medical chart information, the information including information for identifying the person who recorded medical chart information and information on when the medical chart information was recorded; and a storage processing unit for relating the information acquired by the acquisition processing unit to the chart information and storing both the information into a storage unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
