PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type ridge-straddling high ridge forming machine that can simultaneously form the side faces of the straddled ridge and the ridges on both sides.;SOLUTION: A vertical cylindrical front leg 2 exceeding a ridge height is projected diagonally downward at left and right outer ends in a front side drive shaft support 8. A vertical cylindrical rear leg 5 exceeding the ridge height is projected downward at an outer end in a rear side drive shaft support 9 close in parallel to the drive shaft support 8. A rotary shaft 47 of a ridge pressing part 3 for raising and lowering a ridge sliced veneer 55 toward the ridge is pivoted to the lower part of both front legs 2. A rotary shaft 48 of a rotary part 4 for rotating a scraping claw 11 provided at the front end by projecting a forefoot 10 is pivoted to the front side of the lower part of both front legs 2. A rotary shaft 49 for rotating a crawler 50 is pivoted to the lower part of both rear legs 5. An engine 7 is loaded closer to the left in the rear of the rear side drive shaft support 9, and a handle 12 is projected closer to the right toward the rear.
