To provide a method of producing stable isotope of carbon monoxide in which an abundance ratio of a stable isotope of a specific oxygen atom can be controlled to any value.SOLUTION: According to the method of producing a stable isotope of carbon monoxide of the present invention, a stable isotope of carbon dioxide is obtained by mixing of the carbon monoxide selectively containing at least one stable isotope selected from a group consisting ofCO,CO,CO,CO,CO andCO, and water vapor selectively containing at least one stable isotope selected from a group consisting of HO, HO and HO, and then the stable isotope of carbon dioxide is mixed with hydrogen.SELECTED DRAWING: None
