A detection device for the sealing property of an underfill (13) of a storage battery terminal. A telescopic rod of a cylinder (2) is vertically upward, a stud (6) is fixed thereon, and the cylinder (2) is connected to a triple member (8) by means of an electromagnetic reversing valve (7); a sealing head (3) is vertically downward and is located right above the stud (6), and the top of the sealing head (3) is in communication with the triple member (8) by means of an electromagnetic one-way valve (9); and the side of a sensor (4) close to the sealing head (3) is fixed. During detection, a prefabricated detection component (16) is reversely fixed on the stud (6), and then a colored liquid (18) is injected into a recess (17) formed at the root of a terminal (12) and a terminal slot (141); and a vertically downward preset pressure is applied to the recess (17) in a sealing manner for a preset time and then the recess is unsealed, and if the colored liquid (18) leaks around a copper core (122), it is determined that the sealing property of the underfill (13) is poor. The detection device can effectively test and determine whether the quality of the underfill (13) is up to standard, and can also discover the real reason for acid leakage corrosion of the terminal (12), thereby effectively solving the problem of acid leakage corrosion of the terminal (12), and reducing the production cost.
