The mechanism comprises a left bar body, a right bar body, and a folding portion; the folding portion comprises a housing, an elastic positioning body, a left rotating portion, and a right rotating portion; the right portion of the left bar body extends into the inner cavity of the left portion of the housing and is rotatably connected to the housing; the right end of the left bar body is in transmission connection with the left rotating portion; the left rotating portion is connected to a pull rope extending upwards from a left bed leg base; the left portion of the right bar body extends into the inner cavity of the right portion of the housing and is rotatably connected to the housing; the left end of the right bar body is in transmission connection with the right rotating portion; and the right rotating portion is connected to a pull rope extending upwards from a right bed leg base. The mechanism has the advantages that the structure is simpler, fewer parts are used, a folding operation is more convenient, and the cost is correspondingly reduced, and thus, the folding operation is more efficient, and the situation of failing to fold due to locking, etc. is avoided.
