Provided is a water leak detection sensor structure and a water leak detection sensor including the same that can be flexibly adapted to an existing cage and that can reliably detect occurrence of water leak. A water leak detection sensor structure 1 for installation in a cage Z comprises a structure body 1a. The structure body 1a has a mounting body A on which a sensor 2 for detecting water leak can be mounted. The mounting body A includes a mounting surface A1 adjacent to a placement surface G of the cage Z on which the structure body 1a is placed. The mounting surface A1 has leaked water passing holes A1a extending therethrough in a direction substantially perpendicular to a plane direction of the mounting surface A1.
