摘要

Disclosed is a support material for additive manufacturing that: has excellent adhesiveness to various modelling materials; can be easily removed by dissolution in water when removed by washing with water; and does not interfere with environmental regulations even when generated wastewater (PVA aqueous solution) is drained and removed as-is. This support material contains (A) a PVA-based resin that has a sulfonate group or a group containing a salt thereof and (B) a biodegradable polyester, and either (A) the PVA-based resin that has a sulfonate group or a group containing a salt thereof or (B) the biodegradable polyester has a sea–island structure that serves as a matrix.
