A method for channel estimation for a pre-encrypted channel includes generating an original frequency autocorrelation of the pre-encrypted channel for a current bundle of a received data transmission, generating an extended frequency autocorrelation based on the original frequency autocorrelation of the pre-encrypted channel, transmitting the extended frequency autocorrelation to a neural network, generating, by the neural network, an estimated frequency autocorrelation of a non-pre-encrypted channel based on the extended frequency autocorrelation, and generating an estimated power distribution profile of the non-pre-encrypted channel based on the estimated frequency autocorrelation.
