PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation apparatus applied to a living body capable of detecting use history of the light irradiation device applied to a living body.SOLUTION: Using an ID transmission part attached to a light irradiation device applied to a living body for which a unique ID is set, for transmitting ID information corresponding to the ID set for the light irradiation device applied to a living body, a communication part for receiving the ID information transmitted from the ID transmission part, a storage part for storing use history information on one or more light irradiation devices applied to a living body in association with the unique ID set for each light irradiation device applied to a living body on a device-by-device basis, and a control part for reading out the ID information received by the communication part, and searching for use history information stored in association with the same ID as the ID information from the use history information stored in the storage part, the use history of the light irradiation device applied to a living body for which the unique ID is set is detected based on the result of the search for use history information by the control part and the use history information found by the search.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
