To provide a cooking utensil for microwave oven capable of suppressing heating unevenness of food materials even without using a food container and a packaging material having a special structure.SOLUTION: A cooking utensil 1 includes a top surface 10 and side surfaces 20, and it can store a container 50. The top surface 10 includes: a microwave shielding part 12 for covering regions corresponding to four corners of a food material 60 stored in the container 50 from above; and a transmission part 14 for exposing a region corresponding to a central part of the food material. When the container 50 is stored in the cooking utensil 1 and heated in a microwave oven, the shielding part 12 prohibits microwaves from concentrating on four corners of the food material 60. Also, as the central part of the food material 60 is exposed by the transmission part 14, heating is facilitated and heating unevenness is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
