The box unpacking device includes a robot and a cutting device. A robot hand is attached to the wrist of the robot. The robot hand has a holding device that holds the packed box. The cutting device has a cutting blade whose cutting edge is downward or diagonally downward. The robot can move the box held by the holding device in the vertical plane and can change the angle in the vertical plane.
