Arrangement with a housing, a bearing which is received in a bearing bore formed in the housing, and an annular compensating element. The housing and the compensating element are formed from materials that have a greater coefficient of linear thermal expansion than a material from which the outer bearing race is formed. The compensation element is firmly connected to the housing and mounted around an outer bearing race of the bearing. The compensating element is designed to expand in the radial direction in contact with an inner circumferential surface of the outer bearing race when a temperature of the arrangement rises from a first predetermined temperature to a second predetermined temperature.
