SIMD SM4 INSTRUCTIONS AND LOGIC TO PROVIDE SIMD SM4 CRYPTOGRAPHIC BLOCK CIPHER FUNCTIONALITY

The instructions and logic provide single instruction multiple data (SIMD) SM4 round slice operations. An embodiment of the instruction specifies a first and second set of source data operands, and substitution function indicators, for example, in immediate operands. In response to the first instruction, the processor, in response to the first instruction, applies a corresponding key from the second set of source data operands to a portion of the first set of source data operands if the permutation function indicator indicates the first permutation function.
