In the depth of the incision, one of the branches of the drainage thread is groped and brought out onto the skin, creating a drainage artificial fistula of the abscess. It is sanitized for a period of one to two weeks, after which the withdrawn branch of the drainage thread is removed from the fistula by cutting it off at the lacrimal opening, providing spontaneous obliteration of the fistula.
