PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize both improvement of performance and miniaturization of a composite stranded wire manufacturing apparatus. An apparatus for manufacturing a composite stranded wire 15 including a first stranded wire obtained by twisting a plurality of wires and a second stranded wire obtained by twisting a plurality of wires 7a around the first stranded wire. A plurality of wire rods 1 that guide a plurality of wire rods 7a and a plurality of wire rods that are arranged side by side in the rotation axis direction of the tubular rotary cage 1 in the internal space of the tubular rotary cage 1 and each supply the wire rods 7a. The bobbin 7 for use, the stranded wire 4 for twisting a plurality of wire rods 7a around the first stranded wire, and the stranded wire delivery which is arranged between the tubular rotary cage 1 and the stranded wire 4 and supplies the first stranded wire. The bobbin 8 and the bow-shaped pass line 2 fixed to the tubular rotary cage 1 and rotating around the stranded wire delivery bobbin 8 are provided, and a plurality of wire rods 7a are formed from the tubular rotary cage 1 to the bow shape. A second twisted wire composed of a plurality of wire rods 7a is formed by supplying the twisted wire through the pass line 2 to the twist port 4 and twisting the twisted wire around the first twisted wire.
