FIELD: veterinary medicine. ;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine and deals with a method for increasing the effectiveness of specific prevention of associative gastrointestinal infections of calves. The essence of the method is that consecutive vaccination of mother cows with the inactivated combined vaccine “Combovac” is carried out against rota-, coronavirus enteritis and viral diarrhea, a disease of the mucous membranes against the background of immunostimulation with the drug “Bovine recombinant interferon”. The drug is administered 48 hours before vaccination, once, at a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight. Then newborn calves received from stimulated cow mothers, against the background of the use of the drug “Immunat”, the drug is administered 48 hours before vaccination, once, at a dose of 2 ml per animal. ;EFFECT: use of the method enhances effectiveness of vaccination. ;1 cl, 4 tbl, 4 ex
