To provide an abnormal factor determination device capable of quickly responding to system abnormality.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, an abnormal factor determination device is provided in a control system that includes a control unit to control equipment by data communication via a network. The abnormal factor determination device includes: an acquisition section which acquires information included in data used in the data communication; and an analytical section which analyzes the information and determines, based on analysis results of the information, whether a factor of abnormality occurring in the control system is an attack via the network or a failure of the equipment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
