To provide a modified asphalt composition and a modified asphalt mixture each excellent in fluidity resistance, extremely excellent in compatibility and aggregate separation resistance in particular and having high drainage performance and waterproofness.SOLUTION: The modified asphalt composition includes asphalt (a component (A)) and an ethylene-based terpolymer (a component (B)) in which the component (B) includes an ethylene monomer unit, an unsaturated carboxylic acid ester monomer unit and an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monomer unit or its derivative monomer unit as the constituent monomers; the component (B) contains the ethylene monomer unit in a proportion of 90.0 to 97.4 mol%, the unsaturated carboxylic acid ester monomer unit in a proportion of 2.5 to 9.9 mol% and the unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monomer unit or its derivative monomer unit in a proportion of 0.1 to 3.0 mol%; the component (B) is included in an amount of more than 2 pts.mass to 15 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the component (A); and dispersion particles of the component (B) have an average major axis of 3 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
