The invention relates to a fixed profile receiving cladding from a joinery intended to be placed in an opening of an outer wall of a construction, said fixed profile comprising: a frame body comprising a first part intended to come to bear against an edge zone of said opening and a second part projecting outwardly in the assembly position, where on one side of the body: a fitting wing is connected to one side of said frame body to come to rest against the outer face of said outer wall; the second part of the frame body is, along its free edge, folded back to form an outer wing, the laying wing, the second part and the outer wing forming a cladding reception space, and an opening or filling coming to bear to close the joinery against the other side of the body either directly or by means of a connecting member, characterized in that the outer wing carries along its free edge, a deformable band, capable of being applied against the cladding by a region thereof which varies according to the thickness of the cladding allowing the adaptation of cladding of different thicknesses.
