PROBE COMPOSITION FOR DETECTING COMMON CANCERS OF BOTH SEXES

Disclosed in the present invention is a probe composition. In the present composition, by means of meta-analysis of methylation data from a TCGA database and a GEO database, 4.3 Kbp of capture regions are filtered, comprising as many as 44 methylation-altered genes highly associated with cancer, and non-coding DNA regions. Said method is able to detect methylation level changes of five common cancers of the two sexes: prostate cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, and endometrial cancer. The present method can be used for early screening of asymptomatic groups, and prognostic testing of cancer patients.
