An arc detection device (10a) is provided with: a current detection unit (20a) that has a magnetic core (21) penetrated by a first path (51a) and a second path (52a) each connecting a DC power supply (40) and equipment (50) and that detects a current flowing through the first path (51a) and the second path (52a) in accordance with a magnetic field generated in the magnetic core (21); a low impedance circuit (11a) that has an impedance lower than those of the DC power supply (40) and the equipment (50), that is connected to the first path (51a) and the second path (52a), and that is for bypassing a high-frequency component to one of the first path (51a) and the second path (52a); and an arc determination unit (30) that determines whether or not an arc has been generated, on the basis of the current detected by the current detection unit (20a). In the magnetic core (21), the direction of a DC current flowing through the first path (51a) and the direction of a DC current flowing through the second path (52a) are opposite to each other.
