SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DIGITAL ENHANCEMENT OF HIPPOCAMPAL REPLAY

Digital simulation of hippocampal replay by creating one or more digital memories, created by receiving a tag associated with the digital memory from a user; and associating additional attributes with the digital memory, creating and displaying a replay session of digital memories by associating a target digital memory with the replay session if digital memories meet a measure of commonality based on the additional attributes. This allows video or images to be shown to someone with Alzheimer’s’ or mild cognitive impairment as a memory augmentation. Location, object or face recognition, background colour, date, time and replay may be used to associated audio, text or pictures. Age or other factors may be used to prioritise images for triggering a patient’s memory.
