The information about the other road users involved in the accident is subdivided into several categories. The plurality of categories includes at least the categories of pedestrians, two-wheeled vehicles and automobiles. The control module is furthermore designed to provide information about the accident notification via the communication interface based on the information about the occupants in the vehicle, and based on the information about the other road users involved in the accident based on the sensor data.
