Provide viable Lille amides and coumarin based compounds with modified sugar groups for the treatment of diseases associated with heat shock protein pathways.The compounds have the following formulas (I), (II), (III), (IV) and (V), and variables are defined herein.Pharmaceutical composition of the compound is also provided.These via Lille amides and coumarin based derivatives with modified sugar groups are useful for treatment and prevention of neurodegenerative diseases and neuropathic disorders, such as neurological disorders such as diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
