A cloud-based general parameterized model parsing method and design system, which relate to the field of computer-aided design (CAD) software. Said method comprises: 1, importing/exporting a parameterized model of any CAD software; 2, creating a general parameterized model from a plurality of channels; 3, calculating, storing and querying the parameterized model on a cloud; 4, displaying the parameterized model on a front end; 5, using a third-party cloud service to extend the service support capability of a parameterized model platform; and 6, supporting parameterized design software in various subdivided fields. In another aspect, the present invention provides a cloud-based general parameterized model design platform, comprising: a parameterized model general data structure, a parameterized model intermediate data structure, and a geometric model general expression data structure. The present invention has the following beneficial effects: bidirectional data conversion of a parameterized model of any CAD software; realizing the computation, storage, query and display of a large-scale and complex parameterized model by making full use of the advantage of cloud computing; continuously accessing a third-party service, and constantly expanding the service support capability of a parameterized model, such as a high-definition effect picture and a two-dimensional engineering drawing; and also has the beneficial effects that parameterized design software in various subdivided fields is developed at low cost, and parameterized models in various subdivided fields can perform interactive operations and deeply integrated in the same integrated environment.
