The present application relates to an electronic device technology in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), provides a method for invoking near field communication (NFC) applications, an electronic device, and an NFC apparatus, and can solve the problems of complicated operation and low user experience due to that a user needs to manually select NFC applications. Specifically, an electronic device can learn the law of using NFC applications by a user so as to intelligently predict, when the electronic device is close to NFC devices, NFC application use requirements of the user on the basis of context awareness in combination with one or more of geographical location information, time information, whether information or use information of the electronic device. Thus, an NFC application group that can meet user requirements and has order of use is invoked, for the electronic device to automatically verify the NFC devices that the electronic device is close to one by one, providing the user with use experience of greater convenience.
