FIELD: radio communication.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of radar technology and can be used in measurement of radar cross-sections (RCSs) of various radar objects, comparable and smaller wavelengths. The technical result is achieved by the apparatus containing a transmitting and receiving unit connected with a recorder, a rotation angle sensor, a swing bearing unit whereon an array of measured objects located in the same plane is fixed equidistantly at the points of intersection of concentric circles with radii of a defined length going out of the center thereof. Such arrangement allows to improve accuracy of measurement of ultra-low RCS values of radar objects.EFFECT: technical result of the invention is increased signal-to-background ratio during measurement of RCSs of radar objects using arrays under conditions of limited dimensions of the measurement area.1 cl, 8 dwg
