An embodiment of the present invention provides an artificial intelligence robot for determining a cleaning movement by using sensor data, comprising: a sensor unit including at least one of an image sensor, a depth sensor, and an impact sensor; a cleaning unit comprising at least one of a suction unit or a mopping unit; a driving driving unit for driving the artificial intelligence robot; and collecting sensor data from the sensor unit, determining a complex area using the collected sensor data, generating a virtual wall that blocks entry into the determined complex area, and cleaning the moving line in consideration of the generated virtual wall. and a processor for controlling the cleaning unit and the driving driving unit based on the determined cleaning movement line, and providing an artificial intelligence robot.
