摘要
The invention relates to a method of modifying a working electrode for a sensor capable of detecting at least one metallic element dissolved in trace amounts in a liquid, such an electrode for example screen-printed obtained by this method, a sensor l 'incorporating and its use for detecting and optionally quantifying said at least one metallic element in liquids. This method of modifying a surface (4) made of carbon material of a working electrode (2) for such a sensor (1) comprises a step a) of depositing on the surface of a polymeric film (5) based on of a poly (catechol) by electropolymerization of pyrocatechol in a first medium with a pH of between 6 and 8, and this process is such that it subsequently comprises a stage b) of conditioning of the working electrode comprising a succession reduction-oxidation cycles in a second medium with a pH equal to or greater than 10, so that the modified working electrode is electro-active in a range of electro-activity, measured by cyclic voltammetry, ranging from -1 V to +1 V being able to detect copper and / or lead as said at least one metallic element.
