This movement classification device is provided with: a coordinate estimation unit that receives an input plurality of time-series frames obtained by capturing a moving image of a subject, estimates, for each frame, a feature point coordinate group, which is a set of two-dimensional coordinates of each feature point set on the subject, and generates, for the input plurality of frames, a time-series feature point coordinate group, which is a set of feature point coordinate groups arranged in chronological order; a matrix generation unit that generates a trajectory matrix by rendering the two-dimensional coordinates of each feature point of the time-series feature point coordinate group, said trajectory matrix representing a curved trajectory consisting of two-dimensional coordinates that are smoothly connected to one another in chronological order, wherein the matrix generation unit further generates a trajectory matrix group by organizing all feature points set on the subject; and a movement classification unit that classifies the movement of the subject on the basis of the trajectory matrix group.
