An oil system (424) of a gas turbine aircraft engine (10) is described with at least two oil circuits (43, 47) via which at least one hydraulic consumer (62, 66) of a transmission (30) of the gas turbine engine (10) can be supplied with oil. At least one of the oil circuits (47) has an oil reservoir (70) with at least one device by means of which the hydraulic consumer (62) both during a positive G flight operation and during a negative G flight operation with oil stored in the oil reservoir (70) can be supplied.
