Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may detect an interruption trigger to initiate reporting of an interruption parameter associated with a dual active protocol stack handover procedure or a conditional handover procedure; and report the interruption parameter to a base station based at least in part on detecting the interruption trigger, wherein the interruption parameter indicates at least one of a duration of handover interruption or a starting time of handover interruption.
