METHOD OF CERAMIC VENEER PLACEMENT WITHOUT FILING DOWN TEETH

The invention relates to the field of medicine, and more particularly to dentistry, and can be used for dental restoration. A method of ceramic veneer placement comprises preparing the surface of at least one veneer, which involves etching with hydrofluoric acid for one minute, treating with a one-component primer for one minute, then applying a bonding agent thereon; preparing the surface of at least one tooth, which includes sandblasting with aluminium oxide Al₂O₃ powder, etching with orthophosphoric acid for 15-30 seconds, washing off and drying, treating with adhesive for 15-20 seconds, then applying a bonding agent thereon; and fitting the veneer on the tooth with a light-curing adhesive cement which is applied on the veneer and/or on the tooth. The use of the present invention makes it possible to increase the strength of fixing ceramic veneers without filing down teeth.
