The present invention is a highly glycosylated recombinant human blood coagulation factor VIII (FVIII) fusion protein, methods for its preparation and use. The fusion protein comprises, from N-terminus to C-terminus, human FVIII, a flexible peptide linker, a carboxy-terminal peptide rigidity unit of at least one human chorionic gonadotropin β subunit, and a half-life extending moiety (preferably a human IgG Fc mutation Body) in order.
