FIELD: construction.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction in areas of permafrost soils distribution and can be used for protection and preservation of frozen condition of road bed bottom in conditions of technogenic flooding at sections of limited length along longitudinal axis of structure. Method for protection of the frozen base of the embankment from the negative effect of technogenic flooding involves deposition of a limiting roller from clay material, which cuts off part of the water reservoir adjacent to the slopes. In order to reduce labor costs and increase protection efficiency of frozen base of the embankment selected part of water reservoir is sowed with plants of swamp species or within the cut-off part of the water reservoir in the winter season, dredged soil or peat, having given properties for moisture capacity and structural rigidity of the frame, are dumped in the required amount, or within the isolated part of the water body in the summer time light mesh or cellular structures in form of mats from thin plastic threads or natural fibers are laid.;EFFECT: higher reliability of structure of embankment in conditions of technogenic flooding with elimination of low-efficiency and labor-consuming operations for reconstruction and repair of existing water-collecting and water-passing structures.;1 cl, 3 dwg
