Disclosed are a paging message monitoring method and apparatus, a terminal and a storage medium, relating to the technical field of communications. Said method comprises: monitoring, by using target monitoring parameters, a paging message sent by a network device to a second terminal, the second terminal being in a sleep state; and after the paging message is detected, by means of a target connection, collaboratively receiving, along with the second terminal, service data corresponding to the paging message, the target connection being a connection between a first terminal and the second terminal. The present disclosure provides a paging message monitoring method, the first terminal helps to receive a paging message for the second terminal, so as to avoid missing the paging message when the second terminal is in a sleep state, achieving the effect of staying online.
