In a path redundancy system (100), each of a plurality of transmission-side devices (10) is connected to a plurality of reception-side devices (20) via a network (500), creating redundant information paths. Upon receiving a synchronizing signal (31) for causing the plurality of transmission-side devices (10) to operate synchronously, the transmission-side devices (10) generate, according to the synchronizing signal (31), transmission information (11) to be transmitted to the plurality of reception-side devices (20). The transmission-side devices (10) also generate identification information that identifies the transmission information (11), and assign the identification information to the transmission information (11). The transmission-side devices (10) also duplicate the transmission information (11) to which the identification information has been assigned as identification-assigned information, and transmit said information to each of the plurality of reception-side devices (20). The reception-side devices (20) receive the plurality of sets of identification-assigned information transmitted from the plurality of transmission-side devices (10), and acquire transmission information on the basis of the plurality of sets of identification-assigned information.
