The present invention relates to a method for preparing a carbon-supported alloy nanoparticle catalyst using a physical vapor deposition method. According to the manufacturing method of the present invention, since a relatively small amount of chemicals is used compared to the conventional method, it is eco-friendly, the process is simple, and a highly active catalyst can be manufactured at a lower cost. In addition, unlike the conventional method, which is extremely limited to metal materials, it can be commonly applied regardless of the type of metal, which is very advantageous in that it can be widely used to prepare various carbon-supported alloy nanoparticle catalysts.
