PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage microcapsule in which a latent heat storage material as an inclusion is hard to exude and is hard to be destroyed by an external pressure. SOLUTION: The shell layer includes a latent heat storage material and a shell layer containing the latent heat storage material, and the shell layer contains a structural unit derived from a polyfunctional monomer having two or more polymerizable unsaturated bonds. It is formed from a copolymer containing one polymerizable unsaturated bond and a structural unit derived from a hydrophilic group-containing monofunctional monomer having a hydrophilic group, and is derived from the polyfunctional monomer in the copolymer. Provided are heat storage microcapsules in which the content ratio of structural units is 42 to 98% by mass based on the total mass of the copolymer. [Selection diagram] None
