The annulus heart valve can be retracted using a device that delivers the cord to the loop, attaches the cord, and subsequently secures the cord. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes an elongate core having a main channel, a first set of channels, and at least one second channel, all of which pass through the core. The first channel accepts the pull wire for triggering the anchor launcher, and the second channel accepts a portion of the code. Support arms extend distally beyond the core, and anchor launchers are mounted to each of these support arms. The support arm holds the distal end of the anchor launcher in positions distributed about the ring. The anchor is launched to attach the cord, and the cord is fixed in subsequent procedures.
