A system for manufacturing an electrode with high cycle efficiency, a method for manufacturing an electrode with high cycle efficiency, and applications thereof are provided. The system includes an electrode processing unit; a temperature controlled processing device 20a including a temperature controlled vacuum processing device 201 or a temperature controlled inert processing device 202 and connected in series to the electrode processing unit; and a lift-off unit connected in series to the temperature controlled processing device 20a. Alternatively, the system may include an atmosphere box 20b having a vacuum inside, or including an inert atmosphere and/or a protective atmosphere; and an electrode processing unit provided inside the atmosphere box 20b, a temperature control box 9 connected in series to the electrode processing unit, and a lift-off unit connected in series to the temperature control box 9. The electrode processing unit includes a first metal source unwinding shaft (1); an unwinding shaft (2) of the metal electrode to be supplemented connected in parallel to the first metal source unwinding shaft (1); and a compression roller device connected in series to the first metal source unwinding shaft (1) and the unwinding shaft (2) of the metal electrode to be supplemented. The system is simple and the electrode fabricated by the system has high first cycle efficiency and excellent cyclicity. The buffer battery made of the electrode has high primary cycle efficiency and high capacity retention.
