A heat-pipe-type cooler (100) according to the present disclosure comprises: a heat pipe unit having a main pipe body (1) that has a heat-receiving part (5) having a surface on which a heat-emitting body (4) is placed and connecting parts (6) opposing the heat-receiving part (5), and branch pipe bodies (2) that are connected to the connecting parts (6) so that the interiors of the branch pipe bodies (2) communicate with the interior of the main pipe body (1); and fins (3) attached to the branch pipe bodies (2), a space region between the heat-receiving part (5) and the connection parts (6) being divided into multiple levels to form a plurality of space parts, and a refrigerant (8) being positioned inside each of the plurality of space parts.
