To provide an unclear substance detection system capable of promptly detecting and identifying an unclear substance and appropriately transmitting information to a job site.SOLUTION: An unclear substance detection system comprises: a detection unit 10 including a sensor for detecting an unclear substance and a communication section for transmitting a detection result and receiving a detection instruction; a detection procedure file in which a subsequent detection method is stored on a present detection method basis; and a processing server 201 for reading out a subsequent detection method by retrieving the detection procedure file on the basis of a present detection method, and transmitting a detection instruction to the detection unit 10 on the basis of the read-out subsequent detection method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
