PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment plant and a method for starting the waste treatment plant capable of starting an incinerator without increasing manufacturing cost and operating cost.;SOLUTION: A waste power generation plant 1 is provided. The waste power generation plant 1 includes: an incinerator 3 for burning waste; a gas engine 6 for generating driving force by burning fuel; a gas engine combustion exhaust gas pipe 30 for guiding exhaust gas discharged from the gas engine 6 to outside of the waste power generation plant 1; an exhaust gas introduction pipe 31 for guiding exhaust gas to the incinerator 3; and an introduction regulating valve 30a for regulating at least a part of exhaust gas discharged from the gas engine 6 so as to supply the part of exhaust gas to the exhaust gas introduction pipe 31 when the incinerator 3 is started.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
