Channel estimation device and channel estimation method for wideband wireless communication system

摘要

To improve channel estimation performance by overcoming performance degradation over a broadband of several hundred MHz or more due to incompleteness of circuit components, in broadband wireless communication system of quasi-milli-wave zone and milli-wave zone.SOLUTION: A channel estimation apparatus executing channel estimation by using a known signal transmitted from a transmitter, and providing for demodulation of data signal includes a channel estimation section executing channel estimation from the known signal by using a predetermined method, a noise smoothing section for receiving the channel estimation results from the channel estimation section, and providing the channel estimation results, in which the impact of broadband noise is cushioned by using a noise smoothing filter, to demodulation of the data signal, and a control section for calculating reception SNR from the channel estimation results from the channel estimation section, and setting parameters of the noise smoothing filter by using the calculated reception SNR.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
