An artificial intelligence-based face recognition method and apparatus, a device, and a medium, relating to the field of computer vision. The method comprises: obtaining input n groups of video frames, at least one group of video frames comprising a color video frame and a depth video frame of a target face, and n being a positive integer (301); invoking a first liveness detection part to recognize the color video frame in the n groups of video frames, the first liveness detection part being an interactive liveness detection part (302); invoking a second liveness detection part to recognize the depth video frame in the n groups of video frames, the second liveness detection part being a three-dimensional structured light liveness detection part (303); and in response to the detection results of the first liveness detection part and the second liveness detection part both indicating a live type, determining that the target face is a live target face (304).
